- Upload a profile picture with some subtle element of humor. Mock up a studio setting, complete with suit, vaseline on lens, a glimmer in your smile, etc. Or take a low-quality photograph of yourself, with a strong flash, in which you look frozen with fear.
- Submit a blatantly self-promoting status. Use sales-person lingo if you know it. For example: "Ben is currently re-architecting the business unit, closing knowledge gaps, rolling out best-of-breed services, etc."
- "Blind Date": Allow a friend in your network to write any kind of recommendation they want for you. Accept it without reviewing it first.
- Find the most important people in your network and write positive but extremely unprofessional recommendations for them.
- "Fraud": Create fake accounts for important sounding people, add them to your network and write recommendations for yourself under their names.
- "Guts": allow a friend full control of your profile for a set period of time.
